Our Academy Football introduces our youngest generation of footballers to the game with a smile on their face, a ball at their feet and the Lajee Celtic crest on their chest.

As well as learning fundamental football skills, our young players are introduced to the concept of organised sport while developing crucial social skills with their peers.

Most importantly, our qualified coaches ensure that the children have fun in a safe and controlled environment.

Our Academy Football currently caters for over 120 young footballers from Aida camp and the surrounding areas.

Our young footballers are given opportunities to connect and grow through football despite challenges imposed by the colonial occupation like separation, restriction of movement, intimidation and violence.

It is because of the harsh realities of life under colonial occupation that our young footballers learn quickly that football is more than just a game. It is a brief escape from reality. It is a channel to connect with the world. It is a catalyst for solidarity. It is a vehicle of resistance.
